I'm excited to present Creative Cues, a newsletter that offers succinct and unique design prompts to foster creativity and provide a platform for you to engage in self-initiated projects.

This resource aims to enrich your portfolio development by offering a diverse range of challenges, encouraging experimentation, and facilitating the cultivation of a robust body of work that reflects your unique design sensibilities and skills.

About me

Jena Marble is a graphic designer, art director, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has extensive experience in industry — working with clients that include Kohl’s, Toyota, Vienna Beef, and American Express — as well as academia and government — collaborating with Arizona State University, Baylor, USAID, the US State Department, and the National Institutes of Health.

With a degree in visual communication and years of professional experience, she uses streamlined research and design processes to help transform brands. She has extensive knowledge of brand identity methodology and execution, and has designed solutions for both startups and well-established companies.

When she’s not working from her home base in Champaign-Urbana, you can find her spending an unreasonable amount of time thinking about fonts or dreaming about Don Draper's conversation pit.
